Denver: Top 5 Things to Do!

Denver: Your Guide!

Explore a bustling city with adventures of all type.

Denver has so much to offer no matter what kind of adventure you're looking for. Here are the top 5 things we got to explore and do!

International Church of Cannabis

My number one recommendation is the International Church Of Cannabis. While it sounds super strange and a quirky find, this place was amazing. They have a beautiful and magical light show in their chapel (shown to the left). While you wait for the light show or after you can hangout and chill in a super cool game lounge with everything from board games to an old pac-man arcade game.

Watercourse Foods

Stop by Watercourse Foods for some delicious plant-based meal options. The buffalo cauliflower wings were absolutely to die for and so delicious. Beware the side of fries is massive so bring your appetite!

Waterton Canyon Hike

The winding dirt road trail of Waterton Canyon takes you along the South Platte River and into a canyon where you might spy some Bighorn sheep or catch the sight of massive eagles soaring on the warm air currents rising from the rock.

National Ice Core Lab

Where scientists keep miles of very valuable ice from Antarctica and Greenland from melting —miles of ice that contains information about the planet’s past and, in particular, the history of its climate. In addition to providing these samples to scientists and various researchers, the Ice Core Lab also offers public tours. So grab your coat and get your nerd on at the Ice Core Lab!

Red Rocks Amphitheater

The Red Rocks Amphitheater is just one of those things you have to experience once in your life. The park itself is gorgeous and offers many hiking trails to get your fill of nature. The amphitheater has so many concerts and even shows movies, so to get the full experience I highly recommend getting a ticket for an event of some sort! Don't forget to stop in at the museum and see all the incredible artists that have performed here over the years, that was my favorite part for sure.
